ISNAD ensures Palestinian university students can stay enrolled, complete their degrees, and build productive futures — even amid displacement and disruption.
Education in Gaza and across Palestine has been severely disrupted. Universities, schools, and other learning facilities have been heavily damaged or destroyed. In Gaza, at least 22 of 38 higher education institutions were completely destroyed, and most campuses remain nonfunctional, with many institutions still struggling to resume operations.
Students have been displaced, while access to classrooms, faculty, electricity, and learning resources has been interrupted. For tens of thousands of students, the risk is not just a delay — it is the permanent loss of opportunity. Without sustained support, many are forced to abandon their studies, undermining years of effort and their future stability.
Education must not stop when circumstances are hardest.
